He completed five grades of a primary school. He worked as a farmer and as a builder.
Lived and worked in Kovačica.
His paintings show farmers in the field, and he remained loyal to his unique style as he painted flat surfaces instead of emphasizing volume and perspective. He primarily used oil on canvas and produced genre art.
He became a member of the Gallery of Naïve Art in 1960.
