Cows and winter magic
Jozef Havjar inspired by the prairie in which he was born, he started his creations, painting prairie landscapes, but to quickly transfer to animalistic motives especially cows, that become his leitmotif, symbolising life in the village, but also a deep connection between human and nature. Famous for his displays of winter in which he catches the magic of that time of the year, creating quiet, but powerful paintings of nature. His work breathes of silent beauty and reflection, bringing focus not only to the animals and landscapes but also to the peaceful and strong connection with nature.
