Katarina Karlečikova Severini
Born in 1937 in Kovačica.
She completed six grades of the primary school in Kovačica, and then two more in Belgrade.
She graduated from a high school for economy in Belgrade. She was a civil servant before she retired.
Her uniqueness lies in her painting of shadows. Her work had several stages and so she painted figures in their natural environment or figures on a red background. She paints genre art, panoramas, landscapes, interiors and figures. She primarily uses oil on canvas, drawings, aquarelle and applied art.
She became a member of the Gallery of Naïve Art in 1981. She lves and works in Kovačica.
